Former Clinton Aide Stutters After CNN Host Calls Out Her Hypocrisy On North Korea
'Fire and fury.'
In a surprising turn of events, Thursday saw CNN anchor Poppy Harlow call out a former Clinton aide for her hypocrisy on President Donald Trump’s ‘fire and fury’ comment aimed at North Korea and similar remarks made by Bill Clinton.
The left-wing guest seemed surprised that a mainstream media journalist would dare challenge her and sputtered out a reply.
The Daily Caller reports:
[Adrienne] Elrod, the former director of strategic communications for the Clinton campaign, tried to argue that Trump’s “fire and fury” comments prove he is “temperamentally unfit” to be president.
“Hold on, hold on,” Harlow interrupted. “Let me read you a statement from former president Bill Clinton in 1993: ‘…It is pointless for North Korea to try to develop nuclear weapons because if they ever use them it would be the end of their country.'”
“How is that markedly different from rhetoric used by President Trump?” Harlow asked.
“Well, look, that was in 1993, we’re now talking about 2017. We’re dealing with a real potential threat here,” Elrod responded.
“Isn’t that really strong language from both?” Harlow asked, clearly baffled by Elrod’s blatant hypocrisy.

It is refreshing when a member of the mainstream media calls out a Democrat for their double standard and virtue signaling. This segment is almost as rare as a white elephant.
The facts are, President Donald Trump responded to a question regarding the growing threat of a nuclear North Korea. For years, presidents, both Republican and Democrat, ignored the growing the problem on the Korean peninsula.
Now, we actually have a president who talks tough and the left is throwing a temper tantrum simply for his strong language. Trump is not a wimp when it comes to foreign policy. That is a nice change of pace from the last eight years.
